The hub for tourism and events – Cunnamulla Visitor Information Centre

Perfectly located in the centre of town and nestled between Centenary Park, the Warrego River and the town shopping precinct, the Cunnamulla Visitor Information Centre is a one stop hub for tourism, events and amazing outback experiences in the Paroo Shire.   

This dedicated group of locals running the centre are focused on helping visitors experience everything the outback has to offer.  A destination on its own, the visitors centre is also home to a number of standalone ‘must see’ activities:

• Cunnamulla Visitor Information Centre – Tours, maps, information and a friendly helpful local are all on offer at the visitor’s centre, as well as information on destinations and events in Cunnamulla, Eulo, Yowah, Wyandra and every corner of Paroo Shire.  You also won’t be able to leave without one of the many beautiful local craft souvenirs available from the centre gift shop. 
• The Art Gallery and Museum Heritage Exhibition showcases some of the best in local and indigenous art, as well as displays from other renowned artists.  The museum is a ‘walk-through time’ with amazingly preserved pieces of outback history telling a captivating story that will keep you enthralled for hours.
• The Artesian Time Tunnel is an interactive display showing the importance of the Great Artesian Basin to life in the outback.  It incorporates an old mine lift, displays and theatre.
• The Performing Arts and Community Centre – A true hub of activity, the centre is the scene of many local performances and activities. 

Linking up with the Cunnamulla Fella Visitors Centre will introduce you to the welcoming local community and a range of activities and experiences that will make your visit memorable.  Information on accommodation options for car, caravan and RV travellers, as well as food and dining destinations are all waiting for you right now!
