When is the Roundup?
The 2026 Cunnamulla Fella Roundup is Saturday 12th September with Barrel Racing kicking off from 11.30am and the Superbull and Freestyle Motocross Stunt Show from 6.30pm
What is the Roundup?
The Cunnamulla Fella Roundup is a high adrenaline outback event combining Horses, Bikes and Bull Riding into one unmissable day of action. The 2026 event will feature a Bullriding & Freestyle Motocross Stunt Show which is sure to be the highlight of the day, as well as a Barrel Racing & Pole-bending competition, Ute Show, Axe Throwing, Mechanical Bull, Live Entertainment, DJ After Party and much more.
How much does it cost?

What about Barrel Racing?
The NBHA Barrel Racing and Pole-Bending Competition will kick off from 11.30am on Saturday 12th September and run through into the afternoon.
What does my ticket include?
Your ticket is entry into the full Saturday event, including the DJ After Party. Gates open from 11.30am on the day. Onsite camping is $5 per vehicle extra.
Can we camp?
This is a swag-friendly event, spectators are welcome to roll out their swag in the dedicated spectator camping area overnight for an additional cost of $5 per vehicle. Toilets and showers are available. Competitors have access to free camping onsite throughout the duration of the event. Unfortunately there isn’t space for spectator vans on site but there are some great caravan parks and low-cost RV camping in town.

Rodeo Grounds, Licensed Bar, Food Vans, Markets, Merch, Showers, Toilets
Can we bring dogs / pets?
NO. For the safety of our competitors and stock, spectators are NOT ALLOWED to bring dogs onsite to this event. We appreciate your understanding.
Can we BYO?
No This is a fully licensed venue (NO BYO) and food will be available for purchase onsite. The bar will be open from 3pm.
Is there food available?
Yes, there are food vendors on site including Burgers, Pizza, Slow-Cooked BBQ, Ice Cream, Smoothies, Fairy Floss & More!

What else is there to do in Cunnamulla?
We have the “Cunnamulla All Aboard” 3d light and sound spectacular running every afternoon, the new Cunnamulla Hot Springs will be open during your stay to soak away all your cares and rejuvenate after a busy weekend. There are also plenty of historic and nature walks and trails and lots of photo opportunities. Add to this a day trip out to Eulo, Wyandra or Yowah to experience, mud baths, historic pubs, an outback beach or fossick for a famous Yowah Opal Nut. Check out our “Things to do” webpage.

Is there anything else happening around the region?
On Sunday 13th we have the Cunnamulla Community Markets in Centenary Park (adjacent to the Visitor Centre).
How do I get to Cunnamulla?
Drive, Fly, Bus or train! Cunnamulla is about 8.5 hours drive from Brisbane, 6.5 hours from Dubbo or 7.5 hours from Toowoomba.
Rex has flights twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays from Brisbane, Qld Rail run the Westlander Train to Cunnamulla twice a week and Murrays Coaches runs a bus twice a week, both from Brisbane.
What facilities are there in town?
The town has all facilities you would expect in a country town, shops, pubs, cafes, food outlets, mechanics, hardware, doctors, a hospital, fuel, chemist, newsagents, post office, clothes stores and even a couple of beauty and nail salons!
