Most festival activities are completely free to enjoy, including live music, cooking demonstrations, and hands-on art workshops.
A small number of ticketed events—such as the Long Table Dinner & Show and the Bush Tucker Cooking Masterclasses—will also be available. You’ll find all ticketed activities clearly listed on the Festival Homepage.

Yes, we highly recommend booking ahead to secure your preferred stay. We are also organising overflow campgrounds for those making last-minute plans, so there will still be options available.
Plenty! Enjoy three nights and two days of free entertainment, including live music, art workshops, circus and fire-twirling activities, light installations and a lively Camp Oven Damper Bush Poets’ Breakfast. Get creative with lantern-making, take part in the Lantern Parade, and don’t miss the spectacular firework finale.
You’ll also find cooking and camp oven demonstrations, native foods, community markets, and both a walking and driving trail showcasing art, sculptures, and impressive lighting displays. There’s something for everyone!

Absolutely! On-site, you’ll find homemade wood-fired pizzas, burgers, chips, fresh sandwiches and rolls, great coffee, fairy floss, and more. Plus, just a short 300m walk away, there are three pubs, cafes, a bakery, and other eateries offering even more delicious options.
Absolutely! The festival is family-friendly, with plenty of activities to keep children of all ages entertained. It’s also dog-friendly—we just ask that pets are kept on a leash, well-behaved, and that owners clean up after them. Many local caravan parks and other accommodations are also pet-friendly, so the whole family can join in the fun!
Cunnamulla has plenty to offer beyond the festival! Don’t miss the “Cunnamulla All Aboard” 3D light and sound spectacular, running every afternoon. Relax and unwind at the Cunnamulla Hot Springs, perfect for soaking away the week’s cares.
Explore historic sites, nature walks, and scenic trails, all offering great photo opportunities. For a day trip adventure, head out to Eulo, Wyandra, or Yowah to experience mud baths, historic pubs, an outback beach, or even try your luck fossicking for a famous Yowah Opal Nut.

By road: It’s approximately 8.5 hours from Brisbane, 6.5 hours from Dubbo, or 7.5 hours from Toowoomba.
