  • Can I camp at the hot springs? – No they are a day use facility only, but town has a number of great caravan parks, cabins, hotels and motels. See our Accommodation Webpage.
  • How far is to the nearest accommodation? Can I walk? – Yes the nearest caravan park is 1.3km away, about a 16 minute walk, the nearest hotel is 190m away less than 3 minutes walk. See our Cunnamulla Map Page.
  • Are there any free camps in town? – The Paroo Shire Council is creating a “Low cost parking facility” in town, it is located in William Street, 1.7km away. It has not been completed as yet, but you are allowed to use it whilst works are being finished.
  • Is the town and hot springs dog friendly? – Registered service dogs are allowed in the Hot Springs, but unfortunately not general pets. Both caravan parks in town are however dog friendly and you are welcome to stay at them with your well behaved pets. See our Pet Friendly Page
  • Can we park our caravan nearby? –  Spaces are being created now for approximately 10-15 car and caravan parking spots with a few minutes walk to the Hot Springs. Currently there are also over 50 car parking spaces within a 2 minute walk.
  • What else can we do in Cunnamulla? –  In the Shire we have 6 other artesian springs experiences, opal fossicking, an award winning 3d holographic movie, our artesian time tunnel and museum, wildlife sanctuaries, historic trails, beaches, arts, crafts and much more. So make sure you allow plenty of time for your visit. Our Things To Do page covers plenty of options.
  • What services are available in town? – The town has all facilities you would expect in a country town, shops, pubs, cafes, food outlets, mechanics, hardware, doctors, a hospital, fuel, chemist, newsagents, post office, clothes stores and even a couple of beauty and nail salons!

This incredible experience beside the Warrego River features multiple free-flowing pools filled with mineral rich artesian water of all different temperatures, naturally heated by the great artesian basin that runs underground below.
